At the inner part of the Eide water system, at the north eastern part of the lake Storvatnet, lies Kalbekkvika. The cabin is comfortable with running water and electricity, and lies only 10 meters from the nearest place you can catch a sea trout or salmon. 

There are no houses in the vicinity that will interfere with your privacy, but it is still possible to drive to the cabin. There are several attractions that can be reached by car

This is the cabin that gives perhaps the most varied offers. For the fishermen, it gives great possibilities for both sea trout, salmon and trout fishing in numerous lakes. For the hunter, you have one of our best terrains for woodland birds, with also good areas for grouse and ptarmigan. For the nature lover, this is the place where we have the densest population of moose, a strong population of kings-eagle, natural chalk caves to explore and mushroom and berries to collect. For the family, you have (in our opinion) Norway's best zoological garden, midnight cruise with Hurtigruta (The costal express),  Torghatten, and a very special herb garden with histories from the Viking age within reach by car (to mention some of the possibilities). 

The 55 m3 cabin is rough but comfortable. It has two twin bedrooms and a loft room with space for up to three. There is a bathroom with with shower, and water closet. A few meters form the cabin lies the boat house, and a small wood heated sauna. we recommend taking a hot sauna succeeded by a refreshing bath in the lake, drenching your thirst as you swim. (This is one of least polluted areas of northern Europe, and you can drink the water from almost any creek). There is also an arrangement for smoking the fish you catch outside the cabin

The cabin has a kitchen with oven, fridge/freezer, china and kitchen utensils for a group of 6 people.

In the cabin you will find pillows and quilts for a group of 6 people. Bed linnen for 4 included. There are also a couple of loose mattresses that can be used. There is a wood burning stove in the living room.

There is no GSM coverage in the area (Nearest coverage is 15 minutes drive by car).
