We have four different water systems with connecting lakes on our properties;  Åbjøravassdraget, Eidevassdraget, Urvoldvassdraget and Terråkvassdraget . Tandether they give an almost infinite amount of possibilities for fine Fishing in unpolluted and undisturbed nature. In most areas, you and your group will be alone, with no one else Fishing in the area. Åbjøravassdraget is the largest water system on the property. There has recently been built a salmon ladder into the area, and we hope that we soon will be able to offer anadromous Fishing along a 7 km long river in the lower parts (up to Trongen). The nature in this area is very special, and range from highland far above the highest limit for trees, down to the lowlands. The description below starts at the top of the water system. 

The innermost place to stay in this area is called "Naustet ved Kalvvatn". It is a small and primitive hut, with space for 2-4 people. This is a perfect starting point for people who would like to spend a week in the highland, with many smaller and bigger lakes to choose from. Even though the cabin lies far from civilization, it is possible to drive all the way to the hut, using a   road closed for normal traffic. The hut lies at the edge of a long lake making it easy to reach the more distant parts of this region. During parts of the year, one can encounter laps in the area.

Four kilometers further down lies Kalvkruvatnet. This is a cabin with a higher standard, but where it takes 2-3 hours to get there, including two both trips over two small lakes. At the cabin, you are in a fantastic place, with great possibilities both for Fishing in lakes, and in running water. It is possible to follow the river flowing out from Kalvkruvatn for several kilometers. The cabin holds 4-6 people.

Ten kilometers downstream from the Kalvkru lake, you have almost reached the Åbjøra lake. Here the vegetation has more spruce and pine, compared to the Kalvkru region where birch is dominant. 300 meters from the Åbjøra lake lies our biggest cabin, Åbjørstua. This is a nice cabin with a high standard. 100 meters apart lies the old farm house Gamlestua. If you rent these houses tandether, the place can house groups up to aprox 20 people. Renting only one, the place is best suited for a group of 4-8 people. Gamlestua used to be the main house for the old Åbjøra farm. It is a land house built around the turn of the century. Remains after a house from the iron age, and many Viking graves shows some of the history to this farm. As a farm this place was abandoned in the mid 50s. From these cabins, you have exclusive rights for Fishing in the river up to Trongen (about 6 km). You are also allowed to fish in the Åbjøra lake. To get to the cabin , you park your car at the southern part of the Åbjøra lake, and use a boat to get 300 meters from the cabin.

The old land cabin Åbjørneset, lies on the headland between the Åbjøra lake and the river going up towards the Kalvkru region. This is a small and primitive cabin with alot of charm, that fits 2 (maximum 4) people. From this cabin you have Fishing rights in the  Åbjøra lake, and exclusive rights in some mountain waters that are known for a very high quality. (These waters lie in the mountain above the cabin, tent is recommended.)

At the southern part of the Åbjøra lake, lies Granbostad, now being restored (hopefully finished before season 2002). This is perhaps the most special house on the property. This is an ideal place for a group that would like to spend a week in an old atmosphere with good possibilities to fish, and where there are more than enough things to do also for the non- Fishing part of the group. The cabin houses 7 people. It lies about 500 meters from the parking spot.

The Eide water systems is in total 13 km long, and runs from Vassbygda to the fjord Harangsfjorden. The anadromous part of the water system consist of three large lakes connected with Harangsfjorden by river courses. This is a very special area, where parts has been protected due to the very special biolandy. The cottages at Eide and Øvereidet is used primarily for Sea trout and salmon Fishing, but can also offer good Fishing for trout in several lakes. At the inner part of the Eide water system lies  Kalbekkvika. Even though it is possible to reach this cabin by car, it lies by itself in beautiful surroundings. This is perhaps the place that gives the biggest variety. From this cottage, you have a variety of options for inland Fishing, both in the lowlands or in the mountains, and there are many attractions also for the rest of the family in the vicinity. The cabin  accommodates 5-8 people, and has electricity and running water. It is also a good Fishing for Sea trout and salmon from this cabin. Next to the lake Søbergsvatnet in the mountain lies a hut that also can be used.

A couple of miles even further up this water system lies a small lake called Sørengvatnet Next to this lake is an old landged cabin built for lumberjacks around 1930. The primitive cabin has a lot of ambience, and is in good original condition. An old dirt road (closed for normal traffic) takes you 300 meters from the cabin. This place  has all the same possibilities as Kalbekkvika. The cabin is suited for 2-4 people. 

URVOLDVASSDRAGET is in total about 13 km long, and has a big variety of small and bigger lakes that eventually runs into the Urvold lake. We have only one proper cabin in the area, and it is mainly used for Sea trout/salmon Fishing. This is a shame, because there are so many good lakes that are almost never fished in, and where the fish therefore has a very high quality. There is one primitive hut in the center of this area, that can be rented, but one has to recon about two hours walk to get there. Before the 15 june, and in late August, it is possible to rent the Urvold cabin at an affordable price for high quality inland Fishing. 

TERRÅKVASSDRAGET is  about 12 km long, where the lowest 1,5 km holds Sea trout and salmon. Above this, there is a number of lakes and streams with high quality Fishing. We only have one cabin for rental in this large area. Fugleburet lies in the center of the area, and it takes approximately one hour to get there, walking in easy terrain. This is a small but nice cabin with space for 4 people we also use a lot privately.
