You have probably taken your friends and business connections to different hotels, fine restaurants or to other equally crowded places. What we have to offer is completely different. 

The Plahte Estate is one of the largest privately owned properties in Norway. With its total size of 160 000 acres of mostly untouched nature, we invite you to take your group to a cabin located far from everyday life. A different experience and maybe a valuable way of getting to know new sides of oneself and each other.

At the Plahte Estate, you can come to fish, hunt, hike in the mountains, paddle in a canoe or just rest, all in unspoiled nature, with fresh air and water so clean you can drink from almost every creek.  On a hot summer day you may wish to take a refreshing bath in the nearest lake. A sauna, heated by a wood-burning stove, is the perfect way to end a day of outdoor activities.

The cabins we have range from very simple ones to high standard ones. Maybe you wish to combine outdoor life with more business related activities. At some of our cabins we will therefore  be able to supply AC power (by gasoline powered generator), an XGA video projector  and so forth.

It is up to you whether you wish to be left entirely on your own, or if you prefer a guide, part time or for the whole of your stay. We can provide  a cook and servants to pamper you, give lectures on the history and special biology of the area, and we can arrange special adventures for you in the wilderness.
